Institute of Construction Management (IBL)

The Institute of Construction Management focuses on the combination of economic and technical components during construction and the complete life cycle of buildings.

With its future-oriented research areas and practice-oriented seminars and lectures, the Institute of Construction Management offers students and partners from industry a wide and exciting portfolio.

The institute was founded in 1964 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. E. h. Gerhard Drees. In 1994 Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fritz Berner took over the management of the institute. On 01.04.2019 Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans Christian Jünger took over the management of the institute.

A total of twelve employees and 23 lecturers supervise the students and implement the institute's principle of practice-oriented research and teaching.
